Bachelor of Engineering in IT · Full-stack developer · Espoo, Finland
I'm Vitalii, an IT engineering student at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences who builds full-stack software: backend services, REST APIs, real-time systems with Socket.IO and MQTT, PostgreSQL databases, and React/TypeScript frontends. I also work on AI integration, from LLM chatbots to training RVC voice models, and on games and digital twins in Unity and Godot. I have studied in Finland and in the USA, and I speak Russian, Finnish and English. You can find more on my GitHub and LinkedIn.

Thesis project · Metropolia UAS
A Raspberry Pi 5 handheld console with a classic vertical handheld layout, a DSI display, an I2S speaker, GPIO buttons, an 18650 battery UPS and a 3D-printed PETG shell. The core of the thesis is AI-based adaptation of any game: the player only needs the game's code, and the AI adapts it to run on the device. Targets: boot to the launcher in under 30 s, 60 fps, under 20 ms input latency and over 2.5 h of play per charge.
Metropolia Motorsport · Innovation Project
Web app for the Formula Student team's DataLogger: live and historical CAN telemetry, firmware uploads, car setting commands over MQTT, test-session logs, packing lists and pedal mapping.

Connected users through the 3x-UI admin panel and tested the VPN after updates. Built a Python Telegram bot from scratch so users could connect themselves. The service had reached 50 customers without any promotion when I left the project.
Personal project
AI voice conversion: trained RVC models on my own voice data.
Personal project for Metropolia
Students upload a lecture as PDF or PPTX and get an AI-generated quiz to practise with. I built both the backend and the frontend.
